Following the success of the inaugural Made In Melbourne show during 2009s Melbourne Spring Fashion Festival and its follow up event in 2010s Melbourne Spring Fashion Festival. In its third year Made in Melbourne 2011 is set to continue its success. Melbourne is considered one of the most creative cities in the world. Wanting to capture this creative talent and showcase it to a broader audience.

Made In Melbourne acts as this platform and allows emerging Melbourne designers to present their creative concepts, designs and imagination to a captive industry and public forum. Fast becoming one of MSFWs stand out City Series events, Made In Melbourne has continously grown from its inception in 2009 and continues to grain momentum moving into the 2011 Spring/Summer fashion season.

With a vision to support local designers, and the local industry. Made In Melbourne in its third year will again showcase the vibrant spirit and creativity that makes Melbourne one of the most liveable cities in the world. Made In Melbourne will feature emerging fashion labels, presenting pieces from their latest Spring/Summer collections.

Always wanting to give back, proceeds from the event will be donated to charity. Made In Melbourne after the phenomenal success of its charity auction in 2010 will again auction of one of a kind pieces that are created and donated by the designers with all money raised from the auction being further donated to charity.
